Application period
Saturday, February 1, 2025 - Sunday, March 23, 2025
Eligibility
- The PFF Awards is a self-produced film competition that anyone can enter. There are no restrictions on the length of the submitted work (short, medium or long), genre (drama, CG, animation, documentary, etc.), or the applicant's age or gender.
- the film should be completed after March 24, 2024.
*Films that have been shown in commercial theaters in Japan for more than one week or that are scheduled for release in the future cannot be submitted.
*Films that have been released for a limited time on YouTube by individuals, or that have been shown at film festivals, graduation exhibitions, independent screenings, etc. can be submitted.
Applications from overseas
・Works produced in languages other than Japanese must have Japanese subtitles.
・You must be able to purchase an entry fee ticket via the Ticket Pia (Those under 19 years old do not need to purchase tickets).
The selected works will be announced in early July 2025
Awards
Grand Prize (prize: 1 million yen)
Runner-up Prize (prize: 200,000 yen)
Jury Special Prize *3 films will be selected (prize: 100,000 yen each)
Entertainment Award (HoriPro Award) granted by Hori Pro Entertainment
Cinema Fan Award (Pianist Award)
Audience Award
